“Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches.” (Revelation 2 v 29 NLT)
Listen then, learning this power of proclamation.
The power of proclamation regarding our faith
Is active and effective, a witness,
When declared, shared prayerfully.
We live in the midst of a battle field,
The onslaught of enemy attack.
We combat him successfully
By proclaiming, naming Christ Jesus as Saviour,
According to the leading of the Holy Spirit,
Taking the sacred word of Scripture as truth,
An armoury to draw from.
We have to attack satan where he is vulnerable.
he cannot stand against the name of Christ Jesus and His love’s witness.
Proclaim this as your spiritual attack, a defence,
And satan will flee, I guarantee!
We live victoriously through Christ Jesus,
As His Spirit of holiness teaches us
To apply the Word of God daily,
As nourishment to our faith and its practices.
We have to proclaim both the living Word of Christ Jesus,
And the written word of sacred Scripture,
In order to defeat the battle strong enemy.
“...You have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” (2 Timothy 3 v 15)
Proclaim we belong to Christ Jesus,
Because of His victory at the †of forgiveness.
The penalty of our sinfulness is paid,
And restitution has already been made,
We are more than conquerors in Him who loves us
Giving up His own perfection that we be called righteous.
Although satan still holds the keys to this world,
he no longer has any claim on us, who belong to Christ Jesus,
Totally, in body, soul and spirit.
Apart from our own wilful sinning,
There is nothing that can separate us
From the loving mercy of the Almighty,
As shown to us, made known to us by Christ Jesus in the Spirit.
We lack nothing necessary for spiritual warfare,
The ongoing battle between good and evil.
We pray seeking healing, blessing and ongoing victory.
We are not subservient to satan, not at all!
We hear and respond to God’s battle call in Christ Jesus,
Proclaiming His victory over all that is evil is us.
Crushing the opposing foe to annihilate satan firmly, finally.
“Shout for joy, O heavens; rejoice, O earth; burst into song, O mountains! For the LORD comforts His people and will have compassion on His afflicted ones.” (Isaiah 49 v 13 NIV)
“To God be the thanks, who in Christ ever heads our triumphal procession, and by our hands waves in every place that sweet incense, the knowledge of Him.” (2 Corinthians 2 v 14 WNT)
Please pray to access the power of biblical proclamation as inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Please pray to discuss the result of faith’s proclamation and its outcome with the Lord.
Please pray for the wisdom to know what to proclaim, when and where.
Please pray to understand that our proclamation has to be backed by tangible evidence, and personal evidence is convincing.
Please pray to proclaim the impact of God’s love for us as shown by the Lord Jesus, and illuminated by the Spirit of faith, acting together to change us for the better.
“(God) made us alive together with Christ...that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness towards us in Christ Jesus,” (Ephesians 2 v 6, 7) a proclamation declaring the foundation of our faith and this is ever to be praised.
Please pray to proclaim your praise and thanks for life’s daily blessings, daily stated as we worship.
Please pray to proclaim to none believers that “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the (wo)man of
God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3 v 17)
Please pray in this day of multi faith and no faith, to proclaim our belief, our certainty that “No other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Christ Jesus.” (1 Corinthians 3 v 11)
Please pray to acknowledge and announce to many, any who will listen, that “The Word was God”. (John 1 v 1) “In Him was life and the life was the light of men.” (v 4) “...As many as received Him, to them He gave the light to become children of God, to those who believe in His name,” (v 12) the highest name of Christ Jesus.
Please pray to reveal to others “That no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12 v 3)
Please pray to proclaim our thanks that “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” (John 1 v 14)
and still dwells with us, as we can personally testify to.
Please pray to express gratitude for the fact that in belonging to Christ Jesus, “Of His fullness we have all received and grace for grace...Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” (John 1 v 14, 17)
Please pray with utter conviction that although “No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son,...He has declared Him” (John 1 v 18) because He is closest to the Father’s heart of love and mercy and we are recipients of this grace.
Please proclaim the victory won over sin and death by the Lord Jesus at the †. “ ‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life’.” (John 3 v 16)
Please pray to keep affirming and sharing your Christian belief, for “ ‘The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart. And that message is the very message about faith that we preach.” (Romans 10 v 8 NLT)
Please pray to proclaim our belief in the living, abiding Word of God, our Saviour, a Brother, Man yet God.
For “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved.” (v 9)
Please pray proclaiming confidently “For it is by believing in your heart, that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth, that you are saved.” (v 10) Amen.
